The Astorian is a Houston-based wedding venue that was established in the early 1900s. The Houston-based wedding venue offers spacious dressing rooms and private suites so you can prepare for the big day. To offload some stress, the Astorian also offers swift shuttle services, valet parking, and wheelchair access.
On the day of your event, staff members will set up lighting and sound equipment for your selected musician or DJ. The Astorian provides comfortable chairs and tables as part of the setup services. Our wedding venue also offers professional bartenders who are licensed to serve alcoholic drinks, like champagne, wine, premium liquor, and beer.
Yes, we do not allow glitter, rice, confetti, color bombs, or balloon drops. All decor and design must be approved by the Astorian.
All payments are non-transferable and nonrefundable with the exception of force majeure.
We require a valet for all of our events. The valet charge is included with the staffing cost which is paid for by the client. The guests do not have to pay for anything.
We only host one event per day so set up can start at 9:00 am or 5 hours prior to guest arrival. Depending on the day of the week that the event occurs and the schedule of other events surrounding the event, we can allow set up to begin the day prior to the event.
