Amy is such a pleasure to work with! She is professional, organized and very well spoken. She is thorough in planning and executing every single detail of your wedding. She is present for all meetings when you get the full planning package. She takes detailed notes and follows up with your vendors for you! She takes the work out of wedding planning. When we worked on our timeline together she brought up so many little details for my Ismaili wedding that I didn’t even know about myself. On the day of she was there on time, ensuring all the vendors arrived on time and did every single thing they were supposed to do. She made day of decisions but I was able to completely trust her expertise and experience. My wedding was stress free and Amy and her team ensured I enjoyed every minute of it!

When we first reached out to The Storybook Event back in 2019 I did not anticipate meeting someone as amazing as this Team. Since initially meeting, we had a lot of life changes and of course the pandemic, but even when everything felt crazy we can say with confidence that we always knew we were in good hands through this entire wedding process. Amy helped us stay on track, helped guide us and provided solutions when we felt lost, but wasn’t afraid to have the hard conversations that we just didn’t have the headspace for if something hit the fan. I jokingly say she had been planning the last two years of our lives but in a lot of ways she really had. Even though 2021 was a minefield for the entire wedding industry and was difficult, Amy never made us feel forgotten. You always hear about people saying that they missed out on the stuff they planned for their wedding day. That is not something that happens with The Storybook Event. We had multiple events and we can say we experienced at least a little bit of everything we had planned. The entire The Storybook Events team was so kind and wonderful. Hiring Amy and her team was our very first decision back in 2019 when we got engaged, and it basically guaranteed that everything that followed was going to be amazing.

First of all, we all know how stressful Indian weddings can be; especially with it being a three day weekend deal. Having a wedding outside of your hometown and making it a destination wedding makes it so much more challenging and adds more to your plate. This is exactly why we loved having The Story Book Event with us during our weekend to make everything as perfect as we had dreamed for it to be. With Amy and Mukti’s help together we definitely had the most incredible wedding weekend I could’ve dreamed about. Mukti was exceptional at replying back to my calls, texts, and event emails. During the wedding weekend Amy and Mukti both worked together to make sure the brides side and grooms side were both on time, both on schedule, and every little detail was aligned for us.
