I absolutely love Rima and her team! They were on top of everything from day one. From having zoom meetings before the wedding to the day of, she was communicative and responsive. She had a Google folder and as I got information I would just put it into that and she would definitely be on top of checking it too. I had one person from her team with me at all times and my husband had one person with him so even if we didn’t have our phones on us we always knew what was going on / where everyone was. All of the items needed for the ceremony were present right when we needed them thanks to Rima. Minor glitches that happened I didn’t even know about or found out after the wedding because Rima and her team took care of things like that. For example we had photo frames of our grandparents and two of them broke so she managed to get two replacements and I didn’t even really know until after the wedding. Her team helped our family members pass out return gifts during our reception. They decorated our golf carts that we were going to use for the baraat the night of the garba so we didn’t even have to stress about that. They set up our breakfast room with all the items that we had kept in the storage room. There’s so many other little things I could go on and on about but I will say the biggest compliment that we got from every single one of our guests was that this was the most smooth on time wedding that they have ever gone to and that it was planned really well. And a huge part of that was Rima and her team! I’m a very type A person and so organization and things running on time is important to me and Big Guava checked off all the boxes that I had. So glad that we went with them and I wouldn’t change a thing! So much love and appreciation for Rima and her team!

I LOVE Rima and her team. I basically planned my entire wedding, I just needed their help with the day-of coordination. The pre-planning process for the coordination was so in depth and organized that when the big weekend came, everyone knew where to be and the team was able to keep everything on track. I was able to tell her exactly how I wanted certain events to go and she was able to answer questions and make decisions for me that reflected my plans. I 10/10 recommend her and her team, she kept me stress free even when things weren’t on time!

Rima and her team worked so hard deliver our dream wedding! We signed Rima in 2019 for our original 2021 wedding, and we had monthly calls to stay on top of the wedding planning process. When we had to reschedule our wedding to 2022 due to the pandemic, she was very accommodating to the change and helped re-shape our schedule to plan better. The monthly calls Rima sets up are super helpful to not only update her on what you have done so far so she understands your vision, but also a great time for her to give recommendations and help with further planning! This set-up really helped us all be at ease and on the same page once the big day came. Rima created super insightful timelines and updated all our vendors and took care of all communication a month before the wedding which really took off the burden from our shoulders. During the wedding weekend, Rima and her team coordinated 4 events over 2 days and paid attention to every detail keeping our vision in mind. It is impossible to not have any hiccups during an event, but what really mattered to us was how her and her team handled any obstacle and made the best of it! Rima and her team are flexible and experienced to adapting to changes while making sure the couple's expectations are delivered. One of the best things I liked about this company was not only how well they worked with the guests but more importantly how they listened to our family members and took any requests into consideration! My dad cannot stop raving about how hard Rima and her team worked (for example, we had props for our father-daughter dance and I completely forgot to get them; so my dad gave Rima a call to see what can be done and her team immediately bought the props and had it ready for us). Having Big Guava Events at our wedding made it possible for our parents and siblings to have fun and enjoy the moments instead of running around to set everything up!

If I could rate this company infinity, I would, but I'm limited to five stars. My husband and I don't even know where to start! Event Details: Indian Wedding, Hindu, 450 guests in Atlanta, GA. Hired for month of planning Everything from start to finish was absolutely flawless, and unplanned hiccups from guests were handled immediately and smoothly (VERY few). With Big Guava Events (BGE), it feels like you have your friends by your side at all times. We wouldn't have trusted anyone else with our big day. In the beginning, we shopped around wedding planners and what stood out about BGE was the personal and genuine touch. Many of the big companies didn't have that, or they were just overly pushy and arrogant. Like I said, it felt like you had your friends taking care of you on your big day rather than a wedding planner. Honestly, who would you rather have? BGE took the time to get to know us, our vision, provided us with materials to help us stay organized and prepared. We hired them for the month of, but that doesn't mean they wouldn't help if you sent them an email with a question. They were also realistic. They aren't there to tell you what you want to hear, but they will respect and try to make it happen. However if something isn't realistic, they'll let you know. You get complete honestly and transparency with BGE. Everyone on this team was phenomenal. Rima was with me the entire time, Sahil was with my husband the entire time, so if we needed anything they were there. I never felt worried or stressed. Priya handled the fort extremely well and made sure things went smoothly. Avi got the most beautiful photos and always made sure I was taken care of. Dhruv made sure we were fed and were staying hydrated. He also made sure that we were taken of and kept a helpful eye on us! The staff also took the time to get to know our friends and families. From the texting reminders of HMU and photos, to always making sure they were on top of things. Our families loved them! If you have family members who are overly worried and stressed, I am confident that BGE will win them over and they will enjoy the wedding. You won't go wrong with this company. I will only trust BGE for any other event I throw. Look out BGE, you'll be coming to Atlanta more often! ;)
