Dr. Ravaliya was the differentiator between our guests simply watching the ceremony and actually understanding and enjoying it. We feel so blessed to have gotten married under her guidance, and to have her lead both our pre-wedding and wedding ceremonies with such grace, warmth, and intention. Throughout the planning process, she always made time to clarify steps and mentor us on curating a ceremony that balanced timeless traditions, two Indian cultures, and our modern personal values.
Many of our guests, even those unfamiliar with Hindu customs, shared how engaging and meaningful the experience was. Both of our families had a wonderful time getting to know Dr. Ravaliya and working with her, and we would highly recommend her as your Hindu priest.
Would absolutely recommend working with Ranjanben for your wedding, particularly if you are having any kind of fusion ceremony. Many folks said that her officiating was their favorite part of our day. She was really helpful in walking us through all the parts of the ceremony and decide what to keep or replace. My parents had a lot of questions for her and she always made herself available to help answer them - it helped that they shared a Gujarati background so she often knew how to distinguish between things that were religious vs. cultural. Definitely keep her in the loop as you are planning - she's so busy, she won't hold your hand! - but she made time for us whenever we asked.
Dr. Ravaliya beautifully presented the wedding in Sansrit, translated and explained in Hindi and English, so everyone could understand the ceremony. She is a warm, bright and beautiful human being and I am so happy she performed the wedding!
Ranjan did an amazing job officiating our wedding. My husband is not Indian and so it was incredibly valuable that Ranjan made each element of the ceremony approachable by explaining what everything symbolized. Everyone at the wedding felt that that made each part of the ceremony more meaningful and lovely.
