Divya aunty has lots of pieces. It's not just bridal, so please check her out. I didn't want something too heavy or too crazy for my reception. I wanted to look great but still be comfortable. She helped me find the perfect outfit. She was also available to me over text to help me pick out the perfect statement pieces for jewelry to really elevate the look. Her tailor also does a wonderful job. Everyone we have referred to StudioD has been very happy!
I definitely think Studio D is overpriced, though she does usually do a good job of getting unique designs. If a bride does not want to travel, is willing to spend more, and doesn't want to spend a lot of time picking clothes, I think she could work with Studio D to get all of her outfits. I do think that some of the designs you could find in Houston for 2/3rds of the price, but you would have to look more.
The bride should just keep in mind that most of those outfits would be $1200 - $1600.
I came back from shopping in India and still wanted another 1-2 wedding outfits. I actually loved Divya aunty's selection. While she has a smaller collection, she's got the latest styles. I was able to find a reception lengha and a gown and saree for our destination wedding photoshoot. She had everything perfectly altered, and the best part was that everything was light enough to dance in! My outfits from India were so much heavier and harder to dance in. I highly recommend her if price isn't an issue.
